Just Write…And It Will Come

People like to say that when you look at the blank page. If you just start writing that eventually something will come out. Kind of like in photography, if you keep looking and shooting eventually you will see something if you are having a block. That is what happened to me about 3 years ago. I was walking around the city on a pretty gloomy day just taking photos. I had come to a point in my photo career that I was really burnt out and tired of photography. I had lost what ever it was to be an artist. I had become just a photographer. There are lots of photographers… I became a photographer because I could not draw or paint as well as...

Self-Exposure

As I sit here and type this, I am remembering we have roughly 13 weeks until we meet our baby girl “Nicholette”. I was uploading all the images from my iPhone and I literally watched my recent experiences in my life flash before me. The kids seem to change everyday and I...

How much does love cost?

A friend and fellow photographer has this great idea, to market to couples, to help them with their marriage, to change there life through an experience that will let them fall in love again. WONDERFUL. It is described in a way that we all should need this once or more in our lives. That sometimes after being together the fun we have with each other goes away. What if we could reconnect with out inner child and experience the joy of a 5 year old? I see it everyday in my 2 kids. Sad one second and full of giggles and life the next. An open room becomes a spaceship with doors and battle droids. The future of the world hangs in a quick second...
